Man in the Arena Scholarship

Someone who is heavily involved in a situation that requires courage, skill, or tenacity, as opposed to someone sitting on the sidelines and watching, is often referred to as "the man in the arena".

Hoggard Wrestling offers a $500 scholarship to a senior wrestler to put toward college tuition.
Requirements: 

• Wrestle on the Hoggard Wrestling team for a minimum of 3 years

• Hold a 3.5 GPA or higher

• Complete and submit to the Head Coach the scholarship application prior to March 1 (application form will be available in 2024)

  • The recipient will be announced at our annual end-of-season banquet. 

  • Funds will be sent directly to the recipient's college of choice by the end of the school year.
